Attorney Monte has been practicing law in the courts of Virginia since 1997. He is also admitted to practice in federal court: in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit; and the United States Supreme Court. He has won cases at every level of the Commonwealth, including the Supreme Court of Virginia. Monte has been interviewed and published by local media and the Virginia Lawyers’ Weekly magazine for his opinion on landmark legal cases. Monte was a member of the Law Review while in law school at the Regent University School of Law, having graduated with the class of 1997. His written work has been published in law journals by the law schools at Duke, Virginia, Richmond, Samford and St. John’s. Prior to joining the Hampton Injury Law team, he was in private practice on the Southside of Hampton Roads for approximately 25 years. After experiencing a catastrophic auto accident in 2022, Monte decided to dedicate his career to helping those injured in serious auto accidents and other casualties. Monte concentrates his practice at Hampton Injury Law, PLC in personal injury and workers’ compensation, representing those injured due to no fault of their own and those injured at work. Attorney Monte also handles the firm’s criminal and serious traffic matters, including bond hearings, domestic matters and reckless driving cases.
